John Pontey

BAppSc(chiro) GradDip(chiro paediatrics)

As the owner and founder of Macquarie Place Chiropractic Centre John graduated from the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology in 1987 and has spent the past 30+ years working in the St George area. John sees patients of all ages and holds a post graduate degree in Paediatrics. John works in the clinic Monday, Wednesday and Friday mornings.

Nico Paras

B.Chiro.Sc M.Chiro

Nick graduated from Macquarie University in 2017 and along with Chiropractic also uses Dry Needling as part of his therapy. Dry needling is similar to acupuncture however aims at treating muscular tension and injuries.

Lorne Clarke

B.Chiro.Sc M.Chiro

Lorne graduated from Macquarie University in 2012 and has a particular interest in looking after entire families through pregnancy, newborns, young active kids and all phases of life. Lorne works in the clinic most days other than Friday.

Alice Long

B.Chiro.Sc M.Chiro

Alice graduated from Macquarie University in 2021 and has a particular interest in caring for pregnant ladies and children. She also incorporates dry needling as part of her treatments.

Melinda Dong

Melinda brings to the practice 15+ years of experience in remedial and relaxation massage to help support your health and wellbeing. She has a special interest in pain relief and injury recovery as well as stress relief and relaxation.

Helen Shao

Helen is a highly experienced Traditional Chinese Therapy practitioner with 30+ years of hands on healing expertise trusted by elite athletes, celebrities and everyday Australians alike. Helen blends the ancient techniques of Chinese sports/remedial massage, Zheng Gu (Bone Setting) and meridian and lymphatic alignment therapy to support faster recovery, reduce pain and restore natural body balance.

Lee Irwin

Lee Irwin is a highly experienced Reflexologist with over 20 years of professional practice and Diplomas in Reflexology and Facial Reflexology. Since 2004, she has specialised in foot, face and ear Reflexology, Facial Reflexology and Japanese Cosmo Face Lifting.

Lee began her career at Macquarie Place Chiropractic Clinic, where she spent 13 years in practice, and she is now delighted to return with a wealth of additional training and experience. Her approach blends traditional reflexology with modern, non-invasive techniques designed to support relaxation, balance and overall wellbeing.

Facial Reflexology focuses on stress reduction and neurological harmony, while Japanese Cosmo Face Lifting offers a natural method of facial toning through reflexology, acupressure and sculpting massage. The Aromatouch Technique further enhances her treatments by promoting deep emotional and physical relaxation through the use of therapeutic essential oils.

Lee is known for her warm, grounded presence and her dedication to nurturing both body and mind.
